Departs daily at 0830hrs. We start off in the morning with a scenic countryside drive to Niah National Park (110 km) through oil palm plantations and local pepper farms and villages.
On arrival at the Niah National Park, we will register at the park and then take the longboat ride at Pangkalan Lobang to cross the river where we will start off with a visit to the Niah Museum first. The prehistoric Niah Caves is famed for its role as one of the birthplaces of civilisation in Asia. The oldest human remains were found in Niah making the park one of the most important archaeological sites of the world.
Tour of the cave will take you through the Great and Painted Caves as well as allowing you to witness the age-old remnants of bird’s nest harvesting equipment inside the cave (now a government controlled activity). Tour into the caves will take approximately 3 hours. Stop over at Niah Park canteen for a local lunch before we return to Miri.
On the way, we will stop over at an Iban longhouse for a short visit. Arrive back at the hotel around 6.00pm

For arrivals into Miri and tour on same day, we will proceed for tour directly and return to Miri town for hotel check-in late even
